The bespoke training programme tailored to individual circumstance - work, illness, life etc. - is a given; any run off the mill trainer can provide that. Stu, however, is a coach, through and through, and so much more. Alongside the training programme, Stu appreciates the importance of technique which he helps us develop. At our weekly check in sessions, we not only discuss the physical aspect of training (including diet and recovery), but also our psychological and emotional well-being and how to safeguard them. I have found this so helpful as Stu helped me navigate my unhealthy thoughts and beliefs throughout endurance training. Stu will make sure you are ready - physically and mentally - for whatever race you sign up for. He coached me from zero to my first Ironman and then a marathon PB - sub-3 hours - three weeks later. I couldn’t have done it without him and highly recommend Stu if you are looking for an all-encompassing coach.Posted on Google![]()

Stu took away all the mystery of how to get to the finish line of my 70.3 Ironman goal. With set daily plans and helping me overcome my open water fears to teaching me how to ride quick, Stu helped me achieve something I didn’t know was possible. With a beautifully supportive group of other athletes I even found it was a lot of fun along the way! Thank you for making my dream come true!Posted on Google![]()

I have been coached by Stu for almost 3 years now. During that period, Stu has guided me through training blocks for a Sprint Tri, Olympic Distance, 70.3, to a dream goal of completing a full Ironman. Stu has a wealth of knowledge from his own personal experiences in the Triathlon world and it shows in his attention to detail when creating your personalised plans. I trusted his knowledge throughout the whole process which led me to not only successfully completing Cairns IM in 2025, but enjoying the entire day. I couldn't recommend Stu and the ReadytoTri community more!Posted on Google![]()

Coach review After years of looking after my own training and coaching myself, I saw the gaps in this approach, I'd cut sessions short, miss sessions and also try play catch up and panic train when I got closer to events. Then I tried following generic plans which definitely worked to a certain extent, but that also has its downside. I approached Stuart and he put some more personalised structure to my program and I found it helpful having someone else working out the Nitty gritty while I just did the work. I've appreciated his consistent checking in and help with getting my race and training nutrition on track.Posted on Google![]()

I found RTT after I'd completed my own training program for triathlon training and realised it wasn't working. He was so easy to talk to and explained everything so well. This decision to get a coach, completely changed everything for me. I learnt how to slow down to actually get better and having an actual breakdown of all your workouts was great. Stu is a fantastic coach and I'm looking forward to continue working with him. Thanks for laying the groundwork to get me across that 70.3 line Stu.Posted on Google![]()

I really enjoyed my time training with Stuart. His programming was achievable, flexible, and not excessively complicated. Communication was easy and I always felt I was listened to.Posted on Google![]()

Whether you are just getting into triathlon, or been at it for a while, Stu is the coach for you! His guidance brought be from a beginner triathlete to a competitive age grouper. He assigns great sessions that help you grow. Would highly recommend.Posted on Google![]()

Can't recommend enough! Stuart coached me remotely through my first triathlon, Ironman 70.3. He's very responsive, flexible and adapts your plan when life gets in the way. He's obviously a seasoned coach but as a beginner, no question was stupid, he tailored my plan to my personal goals and built my confidence in my abilities by showing me my progress in training. You won't regret enlisting his help!Posted on Google![]()

Stuart was a fantastic help in getting me through doing the Noosa Tri 29 years after first doing it. Im older and heavy so a coach seemed like a must and im very glad i engaged with Stuart as i dont think i would have made it without himPosted on Google![]()

Stuart is an incredible coach who helped me achieve what others said was impossible—completing a full Ironman in just five months of training. While other coaches doubted me, Stuart believed from day one, creating a tailored, structured plan that pushed me just enough without risking burnout. His guidance, encouragement, and unwavering belief made all the difference. I couldn’t have done it without him.
